August fun!

Rose went with us to a birthday party then we headed by Crowlord practice to see daddy rock. Then of course, we ran through the sprinklers.

Second Grade

Second grade is not for wimps! I hope we are ready!

Beach--Panama City Beach

Another fabulous beach trip this year! We are so lucky to have the Salinases for travel buddies!

Home sweet home

We moved into our new home in July. We are so happy to be here, for so many reasons--not the least of which having more than one bathroom!--and we realize how lucky we are to be here. New house--new rules: Emmy is sleeping in her own bed!

But this makes me really sad. We kept up with everyone's height on the door jam in the kitchen. I think leaving it was the saddest part of the move. Not only leaving it, but how dirty the doorframe is. 

The sweetest part of the new house is the back yard. Emmy swears she is getting married here and she and John practice their parts. 

Shopping

I do love shopping with my girl. It might be the only thing we can always agree to do!

All As and the American Girl

We were having a few issues towards the end of the year so we promised Emmy a trip to the American Girl store if she made all As. She did and so did we! Our awesome travel buddies, the Salinases, were up for a trip to St. Louis and it is a fabulous friend that goes to the American Girl store with his best girl.
