Christmas

This year Emmy wanted to see snow for Christmas so we headed to the mountains! We went to Copper Mountain to ski. I can't say that we were very good at it. Except Emmy. She did great.

When we arrived, the roads were shutting down due to snow and ice. What was supposed to be a 2 hour drive to resort ended up taking 12 hours. Once we finally arrived, all was amazing! Cold but amazing!

Of course, Christmas celebrations at home are pretty amazing too.

And celebrating Christmas on New Year's Eve is always awesome.

Friendsgiving

This has turned into one of our favorite things of the year. This year, we invited a lot more folks--how lucky we are to have so many people to share!

Emmy made this StormTrooper centerpiece in lieu of a cornucopia. She cracks me up. We had a nativity decorating contest too. Emmy's Barbie nativity was amazing but the Bedards won with their potato carved nativity. It was a tough call.
