Field trip

Emmy's class had their last field trip--to the farm! She was so excited and I was a nervous mess thinking about her riding that school bus all the way to Collierville. All was fine and she makes a cute farmhand!

Emmy "Mama, am I like you?"

Mama "yes, sometimes so much that it scares me."

Daddy "yes and it's killing me."

Sugar cookies

Sadly, I didn't have a mix for cupcakes but Rose and Emmy Ruth agreed that we could make sugar cookies.

"Rose, do you know the best part about sugar cookies? There is sugar inside and there is sugar outside. There is pretty much sugar all over it {insert waving hand over the cookie to demonstrate how much is on the cookie}."
