Bahamas

Our Christmas trip this year was to the Atlantis in the Bahamas. We had a great time even if the weather didn't cooperate. Our big draw to the Bahamas was to go to Essex Island to swim with pigs that are native to there. Unfortunately the weather was bad and we couldn't get to the island to swim. The resort was full of lots of things to do so we managed to enjoy it.

We all got up early one morning to kayak with the dolphins and I swam with (little) sharks. We will check the pigs out next time.

Christmas!

Halloween

Two thirds of the Jackson kids came with us to take Audrey to Zoo Boo. We had a cheerleader, Harry Potter and a computer hacker. Rose was not amused when someone handed out kids' versions of the KIND natural bar instead of candy:). 

Then for Halloween, Emmy dressed as a zombie motorcyclist. It poured rain so as soon as there was a break in the weather, they hopped out for five minutes of trick or treating. Elly and Lily were superheroes and I was lucky to be in Wynne and get to attend Dean's Halloween party at school. 

Football

My favorite players played at the same time so I got to watch them both play. Solomon and Lucas had big games and I am so glad I got to watch them. Watching Audrey be a cheerleader was just a bonus!

Beach

We took some friends with us to the beach this year and managed to pick up another friend (Nick Saban!) on the way. I am certain the Alabama football coach enjoyed his time with us on the beach. When we returned to Memphis, I put him at the desk of a coworker who loves Alabama.
