Vegas, baby!

In what has turned into one of my favorite traditions, Tara went with me to one of my conferences this year for her birthday. I don't gamble but we did enjoy some sightseeing. We went to a couple of impersonator shows and got to visit the Neon Sign Graveyard. Being the cool friend she is, Tara flew over to LA with me for a quick visit to check out site locations for a branch so we got to spend a few hours in Santa Monica.

 

Dessert at the hotel was just silly!

This is kinda sorta like our beloved Panchos.

I told John this was like our love... a dark black house beside a pink and purple one on the beach.

We had to watch our beloved Grizzlies play while we were there.

 

 

 

Baby's First Dance

Emmy's school had a dance for fourth and fifth graders this year. She was so excited but I think it was a little overwhelming. Her friends met at our house and then spent the night afterwards. Wow. Girls are loud.
