NYC!

After losing Daddy this year, I really wanted to do something different for Christmas. Last year we went to Nashville on Christmas Day after spending Christmas Eve with the Jacksons. This year with Daddy gone, we had Christmas Adam (since you know, Adam before Eve) with 80% of the Jacksons, our little Dean was sick. The next day we hopped on a plane to NYC for the holiday.

 

It was amazing. We ice skated at Rockefeller Center. We saw the Rockettes. We spent a lot of time in Times Square. We did the Top of the Rock. We ate a lot of food trucks and carts. We rode a carriage in Central Park. We saw lots of decorated windows. We went to lots of museums--The Museum of Natural History, the Metropolitan, the Museum of Modern Art. I got to see Hamilton!!!! But most of all, we spent time together and it was pretty awesome to do that.

Christmas

The Grizz

We love the Grizz! The Credit Association held an employee appreciation event at the Grizzlies game and our kids got to go on the court during the national anthem and go high fives from Z Bo!

 

Then I got to take Solomon to see the Grizz destroy the Warriors. Good times!

Friendsgiving

For the second year, we had our annual Friendsgiving dinner. How lucky we are to have friends that we love and love us like family.

Sleepovers

Not sure what the rest of the world does at sleepovers but at our house we....

 

Play BeanBoozled.

Have mock presidential campaigns.

Make pancakes.

And slime.

And superhero capes.

While wearing wedding dresses.
