Santa Rosa Beach

We took our annual trip with the Salinases again. Last year, I was able to talk the crew into the Grand Canyon but I was told upon our return that we were back to the beach. Of course it was a blast. Papa Richie got sick just before we left so I was quite concerned. I had a plan to fly back if I had to but we were lucky that he was stable the entire trip.

We had a great time, we kayaked in the lagoon and we rented bicycles to ride for the week. It was our first trip to 30A and we made the most of it. My friend Stacy was staying nearby so I was able to see her. She even convinced me to take a paddleboard yoga class with her so I of course convinced Tara to join us. I am glad I was able to provide comedic relief for the other attendees.

Passport camp

Emmy went to her first sleepover camp. I was terrified. What if she needed me? What if she fell off the bunkbed onto the cold concrete floor? Amazingly, neither happened and she returned with a happy heart and happy daddy waiting on her.

Audrey Elinor

We are so happy to welcome Audrey to our "family" this year. Emmy loves her Aunt Teriann so she was thrilled to host a shower for her when we found out about our baby girl on the way. She is even more perfect than we could have imagined. Auntie Em certainly is smitten.
