Emmy has kept us rolling with laughter lately and when I come back to try and record them, I can’t remember what it was. I hate that I am not getting this cemented in my mind.
Our neighbor came over the other day to borrow something and while John was getting it, Emmy hit him up for his change. She told him she was saving to go to Paris, France and she needed all he had.
John has band practice on Wednesday nights while we are at church and last night, she was very worried about him being home when she got there. I asked why she was so determined for him to be there and she said, “Mama, he’s the best guy I have ever known!”

The girl does love her daddy. You should carry a little notebook to write down when she says something funny. Or, like me, gas receipts from the floor of the van. :D
