I have been crafting a lot lately. Poor John left a lamp out the other day and when he came back, I had glued jute to the lamp shade and changed it. He was not amused. But, I have had lots of fun! I have a small ottoman that has seen many better days and I needed to just throw it out but I thought I might try to save it for a little longer. Using some extra material from when I recovered my dining room chairs, I covered it up and then used some linen napkins to make a ruffle. Emmy walked in and said, “Mama, why is that stool wearing a dress?”
I am going to retire my glue gun.
